In 2020, my father started his fight against lung cancer and I started running for my sanity. In 2021, my father completed his fight with cancer and I started signing up for organized races, 5k to half marathons. Running gave me an outlet from being my father's caregiver and then dealing with his death. Over the last 5 years, this has be come a stable part of my life and I have been looking for more ways to give back and aid others' fights with cancer. I am honored to be running with Haymakers and taking my running and fundraising to the next level.
