We are the Duffy family - three siblings Kayleen Duffy (33), Meghan (Duffy) Laporte (32), and Patrick Duffy (24) looking to help fight back against the terrible disease of Cancer by training for and running in the New York Half Marathon to raise money and awareness. HayMakers is also near and dear to our heart, as the oldest Duffy, Kayleen, competed in the Haymakers for Hope NYC boxing event in 2022. We love the way HayMakers raises awareness and we are so excited to be involved again as runners.

Cancer has had a profound impact on the lives of our loved ones. The mere mention of the "c word" fills us three with a deep disdain. Meghan has witnessed two of her friends tragically lose their mothers at a young age to this relentless disease. Sadly, our great uncle succumbed to cancer, adding to the growing list of lives it has claimed. Our cousin bravely fought childhood cancer and thankfully emerged victorious. Meghan’s mother in law has not only beat breast cancer once but twice. These five individuals serve as constant reminders of the importance of taking action to combat cancer. They motivate us to utilize our own precious lives for a meaningful cause, channeling our efforts towards training and fundraising in order to help knock out cancer.
