I am fighting for the Children's INN at the National Institutes of Health (NIH): https://childrensinn.org/ 

When I was growing up, my cousin Lizzie was treated at NIH for a rare and aggressive form of cancer. She stayed at The Children’s INN with her family during treatment. While receiving treatment, my mother and father along with other friends and family were able to visit and spend time with Lizzie.

Lizzie and her family were able to be around other kids and families going through the same battles. The INN provided my cousin and my family much more than a place to stay, it was truly  "a place like home." 

Hopefully, my participation in Haymakers for Hope can raise money to help the INN's mission of making the fight against cancer a little easier for these kids and families.

The battles that are being fought at NIH are yielding medical breakthroughs that benefit all children. 

Little more about Haymakers for Hope: 

We give everyday men and women the opportunity to fight back against this terrible disease by training for, and competing in charity boxing events to raise money and awareness. To prepare for each event, we combine the efforts of the first time amateur boxing participants, local boxing gyms and volunteers. We hope to help give life saving researchers the resources needed to fully focus their efforts on finding a cure.
