We give everyday men and women the opportunity to fight back against this terrible disease by training for, and competing in charity boxing events to raise money and awareness. To prepare for each event, we combine the efforts of the first time amateur boxing participants, local boxing gyms and volunteers. We hope to help give life saving researchers the resources needed to fully focus their efforts on finding a cure.
Cancer is a bully that doesn't discriminate. It bullies friends, best friends, family, acquaintances, people you don't like, the young, the old...it doesn't care. I fight because cancer has opposed the people dearest to me. It has persecuted people whom I have seen fight to victory and others whom now have their memories carried with me everywhere I go. I fight because I have the blessing of being able to choose to wake up to train to fight. I choose this fight because both the victorious and the memories didn't have the option to choose. I get to fight for a cure that will someday knock out the unwarranted fights picked by cancer.
