I am fighting for all my friends and family impacted by cancer. More specifically, this fight honors my friend, Michael Ban. Michael passed away last May after a long battle with brain cancer. 

I met Michael sometime between 2010 and 2012 when he started dating one of my closest friends, Meggie. I cannot remember the exact date and time, probably because we had too good of a time. He was the life of the party, with an incredible sense of humor, always rocking an ear-to-ear grin and enough colors on his clothes to light up the room. Michael and Meggie eventually married, and I have been fortunate and blessed to have shared many beautiful memories with them. I know Michael will not physically be there on fight night, but he will be there, and although Michael has left this world, his impact on his friends and family will last an eternity. 

Michael, cheers to you, my friend. Pour a massive glass of bourbon and put on your favorite suit. We are going to raise a ton of money to help knockout cancer!
