I am honored to have been chosen by Haymakers for Hope to participate in the Liberty Bell Brawl. I am looking forward to raising money for cancer research and making an impact! 

I was fortunate to begin working at Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) this past year. At ALSF, I work with our community engagement team focusing on sports fundraisers. When I heard about Haymakers for Hope and ALSF being the beneficiary of the event, I jumped at the opportunity to do more to fight cancer (& quite literally fight!). 

In the time I have been at ALSF, it has been incredible to see how much of an impact is made on childhood cancer research. I fight for all of those who are currently battling, have battled, and the families of those fighting cancer.

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation emerged from the front yard lemonade stand of 4-year-old Alexandra “Alex” Scott, who was fighting cancer and wanted to raise money to find cures for all children with cancer. Her spirit and determination inspired others to support her cause, and when she passed away at the age of 8, she had raised $1 million. Since then, the Foundation bearing her name has evolved into a national fundraising movement and is one of the leading funders of pediatric cancer research in the U.S. and Canada.

We give everyday men and women the opportunity to fight back against this terrible disease by training for, and competing in charity boxing events to raise money and awareness. To prepare for each event, we combine the efforts of the first time amateur boxing participants, local boxing gyms and volunteers. We hope to help give life saving researchers the resources needed to fully focus their efforts on finding a cure.
