On April 15, 2026, I will step into the ring for the Liberty Bell Brawl, not just for myself, but for every family battling cancer.

My personal fight began in January 2021 when my mother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. After she bravely underwent Whipple surgery, we were fortunate to see a period of relief. However, in the summer of 2024, the cancer returned and metastasized to her lungs.

Her journey led her to a pivotal clinical study at New York Presbyterian hospital. Today, I'm incredibly grateful and relieved to share that there are no new signs of the cancer spreading.

This good fortune—the access to cutting-edge treatment that gave her a second chance—is what drives me today. I am fighting and fundraising for all the cancer patients and families who do not have that same access. Every dollar we raise goes towards giving others the hope and the treatment they deserve.
