I’m participating in Haymakers for Hope because cancer has had a direct impact on my life. My grandfather passed away after a years long fight with cancer. That experience made the reality of this it very personal for me at an early age and It’s something that stays with you. I’ve tried to contribute where I can through service and volunteer work. Those experiences reinforced how much meaningful impact can come from people coming together around a cause bigger than themselves.
