I attended a Haymakers for Hope match to support my friend Teddy, who simply wanted to do something to help. I didn’t know much about the charity at the time, but I left inspired by the people in that room. They were united, motivated, and willing to take action. After that fight night, too many people I care about were directly impacted by cancer diagnoses. Watching them face a fight they didn’t have the privilege of choosing or walking away from felt profoundly unfair. By raising money while getting off the couch and into the ring, I just want them to know they’re not fighting alone. This is my way of showing everyone fighting this disease that I’m in their corner.
