I’m stepping in the ring for all those who have battled cancer, but more specifically for all my own family and friends who have had to fight this disease themselves — my namesake and Great Grandma, Leah Tuchman; my Grandma, Sylvia Iwrey; my Mom’s best friend; and many more family and friends — some of whom overcame their diagnoses, and some of whom did not.

Throughout my life, I’ve had the privilege of raising money for cancer and other life threatening diseases through organizations like Alex’s Lemonade Stand, and the incredible Hope for Henry, but never with an organization quite so hands on and fists forward. It’s an honor to be able to share in this community of fighters who all care deeply for this cause, and learn this humbling and gritty sport together.
