I’m honored to have been selected to participate in the 5th Annual Rumble in the Rockies, this June 14th, where I will have the opportunity to enter the world of boxing (shoutout Topeira Boxing) and help further cancer research and awareness. I’d like to embrace this incredibly difficult challenge as an opportunity to “fight” alongside those who continue to battle, as well as for those who can’t.

Proceeds from my fundraiser will support Children’s Hospital Colorado’s Experimental Therapeutics Program, benefiting children and adolescents who have recurrent cancer, cancer that hasn’t responded to typical treatment or cancers without a known cure. For families who feel like they’re running out of options for their child, this is where your support can make a difference to expand access to clinical trials, offering a more optimistic future ahead. Even more exciting, my efforts will be generously matched by Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, meaning your donations will go twice as far towards life-changing treatment and therapy opportunities.

About: Haymakers for Hope gives everyday men and women the opportunity to fight back against this terrible disease by training for, and competing in charity boxing events to raise money and awareness. To prepare for each event, we combine the efforts of the first time amateur boxing participants, local boxing gyms and volunteers. We hope to help give life saving researchers the resources needed to fully focus their efforts on finding a cure.
