There isn't a person I know who hasn't been impacted by cancer in one way or another.  Male or female, young or old, cancer is the silent killer that can come for anyone.  While we can all take small steps to help our odds, at the end of the day anyone can fall victim to bad luck.  Every year in the United States alone, nearly 2.0M people are diagnosed with cancer, and 600,000 of those end up dying.  I want to be able to fight back against this terrible disease by training for an event which can raise money to help those who were unfortunate enough to end up on the wrong side of this equation.
