Goal

I fight for the kids stuck inside on the Dana-Farber footbridge holding signs on a nice sunny October day while the Jimmy Fund walk kicks off under them. I fight for those wearing the yellow caps walking that walk below. I fight for the families separated by treatment cycles on holidays and birthdays. I fight for couples spending anniversaries in the infusion center. I fight so the nurses and doctors can continue providing the best care in the world and for the researchers for determinedly working towards the next breakthrough. I fight for the caregivers and family members supporting the cancer battles.
I fight to honor my late wife, Erika Paterson. She was diagnosed in 2022 out of nowhere with late-stage lung cancer shortly after losing her own mother, Sandra, to cancer late in 2021. Erika taught me and our two young boys, Price & Phil, how to battle over the course of her 2-year bout. And how to do it with a smile.
