I am fighting for Jess.
Jessica Carven is a friend, neighbor, wife, mother and the undisputed greatest teacher in the Hanover Public School System (perhaps of the entire Commonwealth of Massachusetts!!). Jess was diagnosed with an extremely rare form of cancer called Polymorphous Adenocarcinoma. Jess' treatment and battle with cancer began shortly after the 2025-2026 school year began. Jess is fighting with courage and a deep unwavering strength. Jess is constantly encouraged by not only her expert team at Dana Faber's Center for Salivary and Rare Head and Neck Cancers, but by her husband James and her two amazing daughters- Olivia and Eloise.
Jess is an incredibly strong and positive woman, and she is winning her fight with cancer! The fight is not easy. The long days and the brutally exhausting treatments coupled with the need to be Super-Mom requires near biblical strength, stamina and a willingness to always get up and keep going forward. Jess is a fighter, and by Jack Dempsey's definition, a Champion. I am beyond proud and honored to fight for Jess and to raise money and awareness for a very rare and extraordinarily difficult cancer.
I am equally proud to fight for Haymakers for Hope as they continue to make an incredible financial impact battling against cancer both locally and nationally. The fight to knock out cancer is far from over. The doctors, scientists, researchers, care-givers, family members, friends and patients need our continued support. I am fighting for Jess and for all cancer patients. Thank you for visiting my fighter page and for your generous support to an amazing organization and our vitally important mission to knock out Cancer!
Thank you,
Paul
