Cancer is a fight that seems to be an automatic loss, but most people don’t get the chance to step into the ring and fight it.   I’ve been given the unique opportunity to do that and I want to punch cancer in the face!

“My father, Frederick Petrone, just lost his battle with cancer on February 5, 2026.  I am fighting in honor of him.  Watching him go in his final days in hospice knowing there was nothing I could do was the hardest thing I've ever had to do.  It is giving me even more drive for this event and I am going to work 10 times as hard now!  This one's for you Dad.”

I lost a very close friend in Michael Lombardo in 2024 from this disease and his legacy is the reason I’m stepping in this ring.   I owe it to both of them to do what I can and do my part. 

Also, my niece Lucy Mills, who just in her mid-20s has to deal with this unthinkable disease.  It’s not fair.  This is why I’m fighting.  This is why I’m here. Let’s KO cancer however we can!
