This fight is deeply personal.
I lost my mom to breast cancer in 2024.
I lost my niece to breast cancer in 2022—she was only 27 years old.

Both of them showed incredible strength and courage in their battles. During my mom’s fight, I had a front-row seat to the toll cancer takes—not just on the patient, but on families—and to the compassion and dedication of the healthcare workers and support staff who walk alongside them every step of the way.

Since 2011, Haymakers for Hope has empowered everyday people to take on a competitive challenge while raising critical funds for cancer research, care, awareness, and survivorship. I’m proud to be part of that mission.
