Goal
“I’m winning.” This perfectly encapsulates the fighter’s mentality which John brought every day to his 15-year battle with multiple myeloma. John Arsenault was raised in Windsor CT, played hockey during high school and loved the game so much he continued with adult hockey leagues and coached and volunteered for Windsor Youth Hockey for many years. He also volunteered as a scout leader with the Cub Scouts and Troop 70, BSA in East Granby with his son Nick.
John’s son, Nick, is a lifelong friend and was the best man at my wedding. I fight on Thursday, May 8th for John Arsenault, Nick Arsenault and his family. After John's passing in July of 2024, I have been inspired by his story and his strength and I feel honored to be representing him in this year’s Rock N' Rumble XIV in Boston, hosted by Haymakers for Hope.
100% of my page's donations will be going to the 'Closer to Free' fund at the Smilow Cancer Hospital (Yale New Haven Health system) in New Haven, CT. Smilow's 'Closer to Free' fund provides essential support for cancer research and patient care. Your donations will help ensure treatments are developed and patient care is enhanced.
I hope to emulate a fraction of John's strength and grit in the ring on May 8th, so please help me by donating to fund cancer research, treatments and compassionate patient care.
Let’s KNOCKOUT cancer!
