Goal
Cancer is a fight too many people are familiar with. Whether its a loved one, a friend, a friend of a friend, regardless of who it is everybody has been affected by this disease one way or another.
Although I was never able to meet my Auntie Maura due to her passing before my birth. I want to fight for her, my late uncle, and my cousins Eddie and Ryan to show that the fight doesn’t always end after the bell. Breast cancer took my Auntie Maura away in 1992. This was a challenge nobody in my family signed up for, but it created a resilience and attitude my uncle, and my cousins have chose to live by - which led to them unintentionally becoming some of the best role models I could have asked for.
This is what has led me to Haymakers for Hope. I want to prove to myself that when the going gets tough, we don’t have a choice but to keep going.
Please consider donating to help fight this awful disease, and offer those essential resources to those that are battling cancer. I will see you in the ring May 8th!!!
