Cancer is a word that is to familiar to us. When I was 24 my fiancé was diagnosed with cancer. Two weeks before our wedding. For eight courageous years, Jen fought against this awful disease, showing me and the rest of the world what true strength looks like.

Through her journey, Jen taught us the value of making every day count and not letting her diagnosis define her life. Her resilience was an inspiration to everyone she met. The lessons she imparted and how they've shaped the person I am today.

Life is precious and unpredictable. If there is anything I've learned, it's to cherish every moment and be grateful for the love and support we have around us.
