Everyone has been affected by cancer in some way and there are people fighting battles every day against it. My close friend and fellow Marine is a Vietnam combat veteran and was recently diagnosed with mesothelioma. When he learned of the diagnosis he said to me, "I never thought I'd live to be 22 in Vietnam and now I'm 77. The way I see it is I got 50 more years than I expected." My goal is to raise money and awareness for cancer and push myself physically and mentally for all of those fighting battles against cancer every single day.
