Haymakers for Hope’s mission is to knockout cancer the only way we know how, by literally fighting for a cure.
In November of 2016, five days after my 40th birthday, my oldest child and only daughter was diagnosed with AML Leukemia. She was nine years old. Today, I am 43 and my daughter is a healthy, active 12-year old. This is the next step of our journey and why we are going to be winners against cancer as part of Haymakers for Hope – NYC VIII.
We are raising money for the Gift of Life, without whom I would have never made it through this life trial. Receiving the news of cancer is like getting punched in the gut. It stuns just about everyone. Donating to Gift of Life is the most direct way to throw a punch back. They directly cure the previously incurable Cancers.
Do it for Jolie. Do it for Gift of Life. And do it to bring home a KO over Cancer.
