Why | On November 4, 1998 my mother, Yvonne Fay Grant, died as a consequence of metastatic pancreatic cancer – I was 12 and I was devastated. I’m fighting in her honor for a cure.

How | By studying T-cells in rare pancreatic cancer survivors that have lived on average 6 years after diagnosis, Dr. Vinod Balachandran has discovered unique cancer protein targets of these T-cells that can generate effective immune memory. I’m raising money and awareness for his groundbreaking research at Memorial Sloan Kettering.
