I’m fighting for my mother, who survived her own battle with breast cancer just a few years ago, and for my grandmother, who faced breast cancer twice while I was growing up. I’m also fighting in memory of my dear friend Sam Kellogg, who passed away last May after a long battle with abdominal cancer, and whose life we continue to carry with us every day.

Haymakers for Hope gives me a way to honor their stories and make a tangible impact through fundraising. For those of us lucky enough to step into the ring healthy, I believe we have a responsibility to fight for those who have had to face cancer in ways no one should.

Life is built on challenges, and I’m grateful for the chance to take this one on. I’m looking forward to doing my part in the fight against cancer.
