Against all odds, Amanda turned 50 in May. Triple Negative Metastatic Breast Cancer thought it had another beatable opponent, like so many other honorable women it’s mercilessly conquered in the past.

Although hobbled, Amanda is MIGHTY! Through the surgeries (including three to her brain), the countless seizures, the endless treatments and the partial, but permanent, paralysis - she keeps answering the bell.

Over my first two Haymakers fights, Amanda’s and my corner raised just over $600,000, with our chosen beneficiary being the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. BCRF leads the way in Breast Cancer prevention and with every dollar, gets us closer to that reality.

As a lifelong Bostonian, I’m heading into enemy territory for the biggest match of my life.
