I’ve always carried a fire inside me. The kind that used to get me into fights as a kid. For a long time, I thought there was something wrong with me, that I was just too aggressive. But everything changed the day my life was at risk, and that same fire was the one that saved my life.

I became an attorney to fight — for people, for causes and for clients I believe in. One of those causes is cancer, a disease that has taken too many of my loved ones. Some of them passed so quickly and aggressively that I never even got the chance to say goodbye.

That's why I decided to channel that energy for fighting for cancer, using my fighter’s spirit to honor both the ones we’ve lost and the ones, like my father, who are still standing. Not just as cancer survivors, but as powerful examples of resilience.
