I'm boxing in honor of those who don't get to choose their fight.

Cancer forces people to face something terrifying, with no way out but through. It’s something I often think about, especially when I think of my Nana. She passed away from lung cancer the year before I was born. I never got the chance to know her, but I’ve always wondered how my life might be different if a cure had existed.

Stepping into the ring can be scary, but it’s nothing compared to what cancer patients go through. This is my way of honoring their fight and doing what I can to help find a cure.
