This November, I’ll be stepping into the ring at the Hammerstein Ballroom.

I’m dedicating my Haymakers for Hope fight to Andrea Broadt, my cousin’s incredible wife, a devoted mother of two young girls, and someone whose courage and love left an indelible mark on everyone who knew her. Andrea passed away from ovarian cancer, and her loss is one I carry with me every day. You can read more about her remarkable life here:

I fight for Andrea, for my cousin, and for their daughters who carry her strength and spirit forward.

I also fight for others close to me who’ve faced this disease head-on - including Sareena Jerath, a survivor of ovarian cancer whose strength and positive disposition inspire me every single day; and for the many friends and loved ones whose lives have been touched by cancer in one form or another.

This journey is about more than boxing. It’s about hope. It’s about channeling grief, love, and purpose into something powerful. I’ve committed to raising at least $30,000 to fund cancer research, support services, and awareness, especially for ovarian cancer, where early detection can save lives. I also plan to partner with organizations focused on accelerating progress in ovarian cancer research and care.

Come fight night, I’ll be the guy in the ring with a left hook, a lot of heart, and possibly a tear or two under the Vaseline. Every round I fight is for Andrea. Every punch is for survivors, for families, and for the future we can help build - one jab at a time.
