I fight on behalf of every person who is fighting or will have to fight cancer until a cure is found, and especially those who have passed due to this terrible disease. Like many of you, cancer has had an impact on my family and friends as well and I especially hope to make them proud inside and outside of the ring through this opportunity with Haymakers for Hope. 

Most importantly, I fight for my parents - my mom who was recently diagnosed with an early stage of breast cancer, but of course she'll never let you know it. And my dad who passed away from a heart attack 4 years ago. While his death wasn't due to cancer, he was an avid boxing fan and I know he'll be there in my corner just like he always was throughout my life. Miss you every day, pops
