I think about my grandmother a lot in this. She was French, and one of the healthiest people I've ever known – never drank, never smoked, ate basically vegan before it was trendy. She did everything right, but cancer doesn't keep score the way we'd like it to. If she found out I was boxing I know she would say "Oh merde! Stupeed Ahhs"

When I'm not at Urban Boxing getting ready for the Anthem, I'm usually sparring with my kids, Marty IV and Lucy.

Every dollar raised goes towards cancer research. Look forward to seeing everyone on September 16th – it'll be my first time under the bright lights since a failed attempt at standup comedy circa 2007.
