I was 10 years old when I lost my grandmother to cancer. She was someone I was incredibly close to, and it was the first time I had ever lost anyone. That kind of loss at that age stays with you.

Haymakers for Hope gives ordinary people the chance to do something extraordinary: step into a boxing ring to raise money and awareness for cancer research. First-time fighters, local gyms, and volunteers can all come together to help fund the researchers working to find a cure.

I may not be a boxer, but I'm someone who shows up, works hard, and fights for the people and causes that matter. This is one of those times.
