I’m stepping into the ring not just to compete—but to fight for something deeply personal.

This fight is for Stacie, Mary, and so many other friends and family members who have faced cancer with unbelievable strength, grace, and determination. Some are still in the fight. Some have made it through. Some we miss every day. But all of them are with me.

When I put my gloves on, I’m not just preparing to box—I’m carrying their names, their stories, their strength.
Every jab, every round, every breath is for them.

In 2021, I had a breast biopsy. It came back normal, and I’m grateful every day—but that experience changed me. It gave me a glimpse of the fear, the waiting, the unknown. It made me stronger. It gave me even more reason to fight for others who didn’t get the same result.

Cancer has taken too much from too many. This is my way of giving something back—by raising money for research, support, and hope. By showing that we don’t back down. That we fight for the people we love, and for the ones who can’t fight anymore.

So when I walk into that ring, I do it with purpose.
