My name is Carl Bauer. Boxing is my greatest passion and for people who know me, it is often the first thing they think about when they hear my name. I am obsessed with the sport, its history, and learning more about it each day ever since I got into it back in 2018. Boxing maintains my mental health, gives me confidence, and makes me the person I am in my personal and professional life. It also was the main motivator in helping me quit smoking years ago. It has changed my life for the better, and I’m privileged to be able to do what I love while aiming to make a difference against a horrible disease.

I will be fighting in honor of both my grandpas (Grandpa Dick RIP and Grandaddy RIP), my grandmas (Grandma Jean and Grandmommy), Uncle Ned RIP, Uncle Vinny RIP, and my Aunt Kate who all suffered from a form of cancer. I miss them terribly and am very fortunate my grandmas and aunt are cancer survivors. They’re all champions and if I have even a fraction of their fighting spirit or the fighting spirit of others who fought or are fighting cancer, I know I can achieve great things with this endeavor. I hope to impact at least one cancer patient’s life with my efforts; that alone will make this process a success.
