I am fighting in honor of my Uncle who beat cancer and to all the friends I know who have lost loved ones. Before my Uncle's diagnosis, I wanted to fight to knock out cancer to honor my classmates and friends who lost parents to cancer at far too young of an age. But when it happened to someone I love, it made me even more motivated to get in shape, fight in Haymakers, and raise money to find a cure so that hopefully we live in a future where a cancer diagnosis does not make people immediately think about death. I want to live in a world where a cancer diagnosis can be treated and knocked out instantly. I am fighting for my Uncle and every person I know who's life has been impacted by cancer.
