Why do I choose to fight? 1) I simply love the sport. 2) I absolutely hate cancer. I am fortunate to be able to put my body and mind through the challenges I will face throughout the next few months. But those affected by cancer don’t have a choice. We all know someone, often a family member or friend, who has to face that fight. I am fighting for my Uncle Brian, my Aunt Anne, and my friends. For those I do not know and those who have no one to support them. I fight for the survivors and for those less fortunate. I fight for all.

I’ve chosen my fundraising efforts to benefit one of the top cancer centers in the country, the Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center. Through research and treatment, the Kimmel Cancer Center provides innovative and cutting edge therapies across a wide spectrum of cancers, with patient care at the forefront.
