Cancer is something that has no boundaries. It doesn't consider the specifics of its host, it doesn't have a preference, and it doesn't choose whom it effects. It's only agenda is to spread. If you have not been directly affected by cancer, there is a good chance you have a family member, a friend, a loved one, or colleague who has been directly affected. I am fighting for all those whose fight has ended short, for those continuing to fight their battle, and for those who have fought and conquered. Especially for my family!! My grandfather has suffered from melanoma cancer for many many years, and his battle is still ongoing. I fight for my uncle who had to have a kidney removed due to cancer. I fight for my friends who have had their loved ones taken too soon.

The battle many face with cancer is no easy feat - there are ups and downs, set backs and breakthroughs, life and loss. Most importantly is the will to keep fighting! I am eager to use my body to fight to raise money for something greater than myself. I am eager to face this challenge head on to help KO Cancer!!
