I am fighting in memory of my grandparents, Ada Noffsinger and Ed Pike and for kids like Kaden (former student).

As a third grade teacher in Denver I saw this battle first hand with one of my students and his family. An 8 year old kid missing school for chemo treatments was tough to watch. But the strength and determination he showed was so inspiring. After a 4 year battle, he was able to kick cancer to the curb while in my class. I want to fight for kids like him. Shaving my head in solidarity was a great first step in supporting people who are fighting this battle. I am excited to take this fight to the next level by participating in H4H. I also want to thank Ben Speicher, an H4H Alumni, for sharing his story and encouraging me to take on this challenge.

Please help me honor my grandparents, kids like Kaden and all of those who have fought this fight, by raising money to help provide services for patients to KO cancer.
