“Don’t count the days. Make the days count.” — Muhammad Ali
I fight for my father, Ralph Keeney. He sadly lost the battle to cancer this past fall and it was devastating for our entire family. However, the one thing I have to hold on to is that the advancements in cancer research are the reason we had one amazing last year with our dad. He was able to see one more year of growing grandchildren, one more year of laughter with his family, and one more year of happiness with our amazing mother. If I can give another family the opportunity to have more time with their loved ones through funding improvement of care for those with cancer, well it's no question I will. I'm here to KO cancer for those who have lost their battles, those who are currently battling, and for those who have won.
What Haymakers is All About:
We give everyday men and women the opportunity to fight back against this terrible disease by training for and competing in charity boxing events to raise money and awareness. To prepare for each event, we combine the efforts of the first-time amateur boxing participants, local boxing gyms, and volunteers. We hope to help give life-saving researchers the resources needed to fully focus their efforts on finding a cure.
