Like too many, I have been impacted with family and friends who’ve battled cancer of various forms.  Some of their fights ended in celebration and miraculous healings and others ended with remembrance.  I have always admired the sport of boxing – it requires dedication, focus, and the will to fight to the end – I see these same characteristics in those who have battled cancer, and I want to honor them by taking on this challenge.  I’m fighting for all those I love that have fought and continue to fight this disease.

Leveraging my commitment and your generosity, we will have an exciting event on October 27th in Denver.  The thing I love about sports is that it serves a greater purpose by rallying communities around greater causes, causes that are not about a score but about hope and love and humanity.
