On June 6th, I will enter the ring to assist in Haymakers for Hope’s (H4H) mission to knockout cancer, by literally fighting for a cure.   Over the next 4 months I will be devoting a significant amount of time to training and fundraising to do my part in helping out.

We are constantly surrounded by friends, colleagues, and family who have been affected by cancer in some form.  For me, the most painful is witnessing or hearing about pediatric cancer and the child's inability to live a normal life.  For that reason, I am designating my training and fundraising to all those affected by pediatric cancer.  As I embark on this journey, please consider donating or even attending the event.

Ticket Sales and Charity Proceeds:

-  I have the opportunity to direct all donations tied to my name and mission.  After considerable thought, I have chosen Camp Wapiyapi, a summer camp for children facing pediatric cancer and their siblings.  At Camp Wapiyapi,  patients and their siblings between the ages of 6 to 17 years old can regain a normal childhood filled with laughter, adventure, and fun.  https://www.campwapiyapi.org/

-  Tickets go on sale April 9th (Use my last name for access code).  Proceeds from ticket sales will go towards developing and expanding the mission of H4H.  The primary beneficiary of funds will be First Descents.  First Descents provides life-changing, outdoor adventures for young adults impacted by cancer.  https://firstdescents.org/who-we-are/
