"Warriors are not the ones who always win, but the ones that always fight."
Nick was born in Florida before his family relocated to Northern Virginia, where he was raised, and graduated from Loudoun Valley High School. From a young age, Nick's parents encouraged him and his siblings to give back to their community by regularly volunteering with Habitat for Humanity and local Salvation Army shelters.
Growing up, he was active in every sport he could fit into his schedule and eventually went on to excel as a linebacker on the football team at Hampden-Sydney College. As one of the oldest schools in the country, the motto of H-SC is to "Form good men and good citizens", and this has stuck with Nick since he graduated in 2016.
Nick now lives in Maryland with his wife and newborn daughter. He is a Project Manager building new homes in Prince Georges County for Ryan Homes. Although his life has continued to move forward, he never lost his love for competition and giving back to his community. When Nick heard about Haymakers for Hope, he knew it was the perfect combination of the the two, and a once in a lifetime experience that he could not pass up.
Haymakers for Hope gives everyday men and women the opportunity to fight back against this cancer by training for, and competing in charity boxing events to raise money and awareness. To prepare for each event, we combine the efforts of the first time amateur boxing participants, local boxing gyms and volunteers. We hope to help give life saving researchers the resources needed to fully focus their efforts on finding a cure.
Please help us knock out cancer by donating to Nick's fund!
