Goal
I'm fundraising for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation because they are changing the lives of children with cancer every day by funding impactful research, raising awareness, supporting families and empowering everyone to help cure childhood cancer.
I'm fighting for my grandfather Joe Pal, my uncle Kyran Pal, and my close family friend George DeMarchi. I’m more of a lover than a fighter, but cancer is the biggest bully on the playground, and I was raised to stand up to bullies.
What an accomplishment it would be to raise a ton of money for a noble cause, to get myself in the best shape of my life, and the get in that ring with a smile on my face and no regrets with my close friends & family watching from "my corner."
Joe French was born in Toronto, Canada and currently lives in Washington, D.C. where he works in the real estate capital markets. As an athlete, Joe represented Canada at the 2012 World Lacrosse Championships in Turku, Finland. Joe played division 1 lacrosse for the University of Virginia before getting drafted by the Chesapeake Bayhawks of Major League Lacrosse. Most recently, Joe was a member of the Connecticut Hammerheads.
Joe remains involved in the local lacrosse community through coaching children and volunteering as the President of the Junior Board for Winners Lacrosse, which provides boys & girls from underserved neighborhoods the opportunity to learn the game of lacrosse and the life skills associated with playing a team sport.
