About Me: My name is Kevin Green. I grew up in Weymouth, Massachusetts. I'm the oldest sibling of four, I have terrific and supportive parents, and there was one constant in my life that I knew I could always count on: hockey. So when college ended and I hung up my skates, I struggled to find a new athletic identity and routine. I am excited to go through this 4-month training regiment that will undoubtedly push me out of my comfort zone, challenge my body, and test my mental strength.

Why I'm Fighting: Last year, a very close friend's father lost his multi-year long battle with cancer. I could hear the pain in my friend's voice when he spoke about it, and I could see it in the faces of his family. Although I couldn't fully understand what they were going through, I knew that there had to be a space out there that would allow me to help in some way. Drumroll... Haymakers for Hope. I feel privileged and honored to step into the ring and participate in such an amazing event that supports a cause close to my heart.
