I’m fighting for my beautiful wife Denise. She has been my biggest influence in life. After beating thyroid cancer, she was then diagnosed with a blood cancer called essential thrombocythemia. Essential thrombocythemia is a blood malignancy that is typically characterized by an elevation of platelets in the blood. It is most prevalent in women over the age of 50 and common symptoms include blood clotting and bleeding. ET patients have a later risk of progression to other blood cancers. Dispite this daily battle she gets up goes to work and loves our two kids and me with all of her heart every day!! She is my hero and inspiration!!!
