Just do your best.
I am fighting in honor of my dad, Arthur J Tuccio, and my brother, Hunter Tuccio. My dad lost his battle to lung cancer in 2012 when I was 18 years old. When most people hear "lung cancer" they think of smoking. My dad never smoked a day in his life. He was a healthy 46 year old man. What this means to me is we have a long way to go in terms of research and treatment of all types of cancer. My brother Hunter is a survivor of neuroblastoma, a form of childhood cancer. One of my earliest memories was spending time at the hospital as a child when Hunter was fighting cancer as a toddler. Now that I am grown up from these experiences I now feel it is my responsibility to fight and contribute so that we can become more educated around cancer and increase survival rates until there are cures across the board for cancer.
I am motivated, driven, and ready to complete this day by day journey and go from where I am now to ready to step into the ring as a boxer. Just as my dad and brother never quit the fight, I will not either.
