Participating in Haymakers for Hope gives me the opportunity to be a small part in the solution to a big problem. Unfortunately, like many people I have had to see friends and family take cancer head on . Losing my grandmother Helen Gale to multiple myeloma in 2011 was the first time in my life that I got a close look at how detrimental and debilitating cancer can be. My hope is that if we put enough resources in the right hands that one day we can find a solution to this problem that affects so many.
