I am fighting for all my friends and family who have been affected by this terrible disease. Most recently my girlfriend's grandmother Marylou. She is 77 years old and was unfortunately she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016. She was on a strict regimen of attending radiation therapy Monday through Friday for six weeks. The whole family pitched in alternating days to help get her to her appointments. Marylou got to ring the bell at her very last therapy appointment . Ringing the bell symbolizes being cancer free! I know not everyone gets to ring that bell. I want to fight to help Dana Farber put more people in the position to ring the bell through their research and advancements.
