I am participating for all my friends and family whose lives have ever been disrupted by a cancer diagnosis. The next four months of training will be both physically and mentally demanding but it will be worth every punch to the face, every push up, every sit up and every minute if my fundraising can help someone affected by cancer. All of my proceeds will benefit the Ellie Fund in Boston. The Ellie Fund's mission is to provide essential support services for breast cancer patients to ease the stresses of everyday life, allowing the focus to be on family, recovery and healing.
