The wishes granted by the Make-a-Wish foundation are more than just a one time event. Wishes inspire courage and hope that create a "willingness to prepare to win". They give brave children the courage to endure and comply with treatment. They give families reason for optimism. They remind researchers and medical professionals why they work tirelessly to advance their research. And they inspire Volunteers and Donors to selflessly join the fight.
