I fight for my dad.

After a 4 year battle with multiple myeloma, my father passed away in October of 2018. Through those years, one of the phrases we embraced as a family was “no one fights alone.”  My mother, my sisters, and I were with him every round of the fight.

Throughout my father’s life, he instilled a fighting spirit in his daughters - to fight for what you want, to fight against stereotypes, to fight for your family. He taught us how to play sports, how to fix things around the house, how to code, how to play the drums, how to be kind, and how to stand up for yourself. I am thrilled to be a part of the Belles of the Brawl in his memory; I fight for families who have lost a loved one too soon and for families who are going through the heartbreaking and grueling process of cancer treatment hoping for the best.
