Joining Haymakers For Hope (H4H) is the biggest mental and physical challenge to date that I have chosen to be a part of.  But the difference between the battle I will undergo on October 12 and the battle that many face with cancer, is that I chose to be here.

Cancer has affected my family and friends in several ways over the last 20 years and I hope you will consider donating to #KOCancer. Battling cancer can be excruciating, tiresome, and heartbreaking. My fight on October 12 is nothing compared to what every person who has battled cancer has gone through. 

 

My Dad, Mike Collins, who was diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma during my training. We are thankful it was caught early. 

My papa, Bill Connolly, battled and beat esophageal cancer.

My grandmother, Bunny, who I never had the honor of meeting, lost her battle to an astrocytoma .

My godmother, Trudy Thompson, battled and beat breast cancer. 

My cousin, Elaine Saad, lost a long and courageous battle with lung cancer. 



My Uncle, Billy Connolly, battled and beat prostate cancer.
